Explore the world of succulents and learn about the various types of succulents, how they germinate, best care and maintenance practices, plant combining, and the art of small succulent creations. Go home with your very own unique and personalized creation!
Local Succulent Expert, Carole will demonstrate all the necessary tools and techniques so even beginners will find this class enjoyable. By the end of the class, you will have a stunning succulent garden to take home with you. Bring a friend or even a few!
Pre-registration is required. Class fee includes instruction, succulents, vessels, all necessary tools, light refreshments and snacks.
WHAT TO BRING: Apron and gloves (if you’d like) and your creativity!
WHERE TO MEET: Participants can check in at the front entrance to our barn. From there you’ll be directed where to go for class.
About the instructors:
Carole Giegerich, 78 year old grandmother of 3, has been gardening for over 60 years. She has evolved her love of gardening and taken on succulents since 2008. In Florida during the winter, she cultivates her own succulents and creates pots that she has been selling at various locations over the past year. Her knowledge is prolific and her passion is contagious. Carole is joined by her daughter, Laura, who also shares her passion and skills.
