More Workshop Offerings in 2018

You have spoken and we have listened! Life’s Patina will be offering more “How To” classes and Workshops in 2018! We are often asked, “How did you do that?” during our barn sales so we are going to be answering that question in a series of workshops this year. We will be hosting them in different areas of the farm based on the project, the materials required and the time of year.

We will be revealing the artist studio redo before our Spring sale and that will be one of the areas we will be utilizing for our workshops.

Some of our workshops will take place in the horse stables and other indoor/ outdoor areas.

We love taking raw materials and turning them into a design and decor statement that brings a spark of your own personality into your own home.

The floral arranging class that we held in the lower barn for Valentine’s Day did just that.

Even though the participants started with the same materials…

and were instructed by the same instructor, Margaux of Fleur de Lis, the results were all beautiful and all different.

The women worked on their arrangements diligently

and viewing them…

from their own artistic perspective

they created works of floral art…
while enjoying a few laughs and conversations.

Each and every one of the arrangements

were different,
creating beautiful interpretations
all their own!

We had a lovely afternoon with all of our attendees!
 Some being mothers and daughters
some being friends, all being women who we hope learned a new skill while enjoying their afternoon with us!
Our upcoming workshops will be in a variety of mediums. From workshops on floral design to furniture painting and waxing, to styling and design, to calligraphy, to gardening and a host of others. We would love it if you would give us some more ideas on what you would be interested in learning. Please reach out and we will try and make it happen!

The workshops that we have planned this Spring thus far are listed below but more will be coming so stay tuned and keep checking back.

“I see life like one long university education that I never had – everyday I’m learning something new”

~Richard Branson

We are trying to do that each and every day here at Life’s Patina. Some days we master something new and some days, we are taking baby steps. Either way we are continuing our education in life, sometimes failing and sometimes succeeding… always learning. Join us!
